It is deeply regrettably that the staff of MurraysWorld have anonymously and unanimously voted to ban a user who goes by the alias of 'Arka' from this forum.

See now that's just silly... Everyone knows who the staff members are (or were at that point) and therefore they can't be anonymous if you announce that the vote was unanimous, since that means that ALL of them voted to ban him... Rolling Eyes

What always get's me about that era of this messageboard is how people who have perfect comprehension of the english language could fail so utterly in their reading comprehension...

The process of voting was anonymous and everyone voted for the same option which made it unanimous, so technically it's perfect English Smile

I believe you are the one who failed so utterly Wink

My question is, why should I need to see it?

If a vote is UNANIMOUS then, according to the definition of the word, everyone was of a single mind on the matter, or to put it even more simply, everyone voted for the same option.

Unanimous does not mean that everyone voted, it means that everyone voted for the same option.

YES.... What is your point?

Sure in theory they are not anonymous but technically that sentence was perfect English because it was describing the voting process as anonymous which it indeed was.

Unanimous does not mean that everyone voted, it means that everyone voted for the same option.
Yes that's obviously what I meant Rolling Eyes

But why use the word if its meaning does not coincide with the reality. Your sentence was contradictory.

No it wasn't retard

The voting process was anonymous but it just so happens that everyone voted for the same option, that doesn't mean the voting process wasn't still anonymous.

Stop being a smart ass and admit you're being stupid doh

No listen... You removed anonymity from the process by telling everyone that the vote was unanimous. We know who the staff members were. They all voted for the same option. With those two pieces of information it doesn't matter if the voting was "anonymous" as everyone now knows who voted for what.

Once again, the message was describing the voting process as anonymous.

I know what you are saying but my English was still correct regardless.
