I tried to Google the phone to see if I could help, but it doesn't seem to say that the phone is called Motorola Blur. Blur seems to be known as the tweaked user interface.

I'm having the same photo trouble with Facebook just now, I've only just joined and don't know what I'm doing, I uploaded photos and thought I'd set it so only one person could see them, then I got a message from my son saying "nice photo, mum", sent a message saying he shouldn't have been able to see them and he said he could, luckily they weren't naughty ones as that would have been embarrassing, now I'm too scared to try and put anything else on it.  w00t

Has anyone played Diversion on their Android / (dare I say, iPhone)?

One of the best games available off the Market graphics wise I would say, too simple at the start but I'm addicted right now.

I'm confused, I'm going away this week and I've been told to "turn off roaming" and just use wifi where I can.  But I don't know how to do this.  I'm looking at my account online and I have a "EU Data Limit" - is this it?  But it says if I turn it off it will be off permanently.  I don't plan to use my phone much anyway.  Would I be ok to just set my phone in airline mode and just like check in every other day.

This is the info its giving me and I'm not too sure I fully understand it Think

You currently have the EU Data Limit added to your phone.

What is the EU Data limit?

You can now keep track of your costs by adding a data limit of 16MB to your account. We'll send you a free text when you've used 8MB and another when you have reached the limit, so you never spend more than you planned. It's easy to add or remove, just click on the on the button above, or call Customer Services from your Orange phone, on 150.

If the EU Data limit is removed from your account, it will be permanently removed. If you'd like your data usage to be capped the following month you'll need to either add the limit again via Your Account or call 150 from your Orange Phone.

The data limit is only available while you're roaming in EU countries and doesn't apply if you have a data bundle with more than 16MB. Your usage will be counted on a calendar month basis.

Yes it's best to turn off data roaming but it's probably already turned off by default.

If you have an Android phone follow these steps but if your phone uses HTC Sense then the menu names might be different:

Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > uncheck 'Data roaming'.

I don't have a Data Roaming, but everything leading up to it.

The options are:
Internet tethering (which is unchecked)
Select Network (set on automatic)
Operator selection (set on select automatically)
Access point
SMSC settings

Strange, I'm having a look at an HTC Sense phone now and can see it there right at the top. Maybe you have an older version of Android like 2.1. Think

Do you see anything saying 'Data traffic'? Disabling that would also do it.

In settings and about phone I looked under status and it says a version of 2.2.2 but I also found a "roaming" tab which says not roaming underneath. So does this mean if I don't click on the internet when abroad, I won't be charged extra?
