Elon Musk quits Trump's advisory board in disgust. Hey, Mark, how are you feeling about this shitfest now?

I said I didn't like it when he made it his campaign promise last year. And I still don't like it.
Sad to see my man Elon leave

Wow - Elon Musk sounds a very impressive person, and also as of May this year he's reckoned to be the world's 80th most wealthy man. Not sure about his aims to set up a human colony on Mars though!

I wonder if this decision was a "I know the environment is getting screwed but I don't really give a fcuk, that can be the future world's problem not mine" or if Trump / His closest Influences are simply climate deniers in which case they're so delusion and stupid they don't actually think they're doing anything wrong here.
I don't know which out of the two is worse but in any case the outcome is the same and it will hurt humanity soon enough. It's a shame the global system can't somehow hurt the US for being so selfish and make the move economically or diplomatically unviable.

I believe he and his cohorts have a financial interest in the coal mining industry etc. I am sure the Republicans were desperate to win no matter who the President was.

The question now is whether the world will allow America to renegotiate their role in this. From what I can remember, I think the main issue was their contribution of foreign aid compared to countries like China. I see there is already pushback from other countries but I suspect they will be open to talks once emotions have died down. That's assuming the Republicans do actually want to renegotiation like they say.

For some reason out of all the idiotic things Trump has done, his spat with Sadiq Khan has pissed me off the most.

I've never liked Sadiq Khan (no particular reason) but maybe you're right about it being London in the sense of the timing.

Another reason to withdraw his invitation to visit. He has all the diplomatic skills of a charging rhino.
