The type of people who would buy KITN would not buy as many CDs.
Hooray for the sweeping generalisations... I've bought Killing In The Name this week, and I buy far more CDs than most music listening people.

Joe's CD would be considered more of a stocking stuffer
Charity shop/bargain bin filler more like...

I bought KITN as a download this week it is an awesome song the swearing at the end is on the original single so the BBC should not have been surprised when they swore.
you are right I do not buy many CDs I listen mostly to Metal, Hard Rock and indie but most of my music is bought MP3 downloads of which I have about 60 gbs metal music is cheaper to buy as downloads unlike Pop which is cheaper in CD format part of the pile it high sell it cheap format.

No... I haven't seen it in the shops... I was just disagreeing with Tommy's stereotype of Rage downloaders being non-CD buying people... I was actually in HMV buying CDs yesterday...

Come on RATM!
Nothing against Joe, he's a nice lad with a very good voice, but he's ultimately going to be let down by the predictable ballads and covers that Cowell churns out for him. To be fair, The Climb isn't an awful song but it's about time a stand was taken against this monopoly on music that Cowell's plodding piano-and-string mediocrity seems to have taken.
(BTW, I see Leona Lewis has added another cover to her collection recently (that Oasis song).
)
All power to RATM for swearing live on BBC too, I say. How stupid were the Beeb to really think that they wouldn't swear, even having said they wouldn't?
It's only a few nasty little words, not sure why actually hearing a word makes people get so het up when surely they already know it. I love the thought of the Daily Mail-ers reaching for the phone upon hearing said word and getting in their customary complaint.

No you got me wrong. I meant CD Singles. Do you buy a lot of CD singles?
I love all CDs. When I like music...I want to own it. Like...not just as some imaginary thing on my ipod.
