Let's see what Trump does on that. He has no issue disagreeing with Pence even if it's in front of a TV audience of 80 million+.
I think Trump was the first nominee to outreach to the LGBT community at a Republican convention. I'd really like to think that means something but let's wait and see?
Trump has consistently been
against LGBT rights
. He seems to be on the same page as Pence with this.

I wan't being sarcastic, Aileen. I would genuinely like to know what you think that man can bring to the party in order to make our world a better and inclusive place. Unless inclusion isn't on your agenda.
Only time will tell that Elly, but let's just say I certainly don't agree with everything he's said, and that his exclusion policies are one of them.

There are a lot of worried individuals who will have no power in their lives, other than to "wait and see."

You think once he gets into power, he'll soften and take back all the disrespect and disparaging comments and suddenly become something like a human being?

Precisely. That positions boils down to "oh, maybe he won't actually be that bad" based on no evidence whatsoever. Maybe he will, but it's a pretty bloody big gamble, isn't it? And for
what
?
Maybe Mark thinks Trump will crash the global economy, ushering in a new age where UBI is available to all?

Martin Schulz could hardly speak today. Not seeing him parading his ego for all to see. Genuinely in shock and rightly so.

Congratulations! You've unlocked point #7 on the wacky deluded list of reasons why it's ok to vote for the next Hitler.

How about we reframe the debate: what Trump policies do you agree with? I ask that in the interests of honest debate, not to flame you.

For a start, I do believe that underneath it all he is a human being, and also I would sincerely hope that he back-peddles on the worst of his excesses, including that of exclusion.

Me too, Phil.
I honestly want to understand the Trump support.
Let's all keep this respectful.

Fair enough, but I've already made it plain I'm not interested in continuing to debate on this thread right now.
