Roger and Stan are pretty close friends, heat of the moment things are said at the highest level but also a lot of what was said was misquoted in the media, as a journalist I would have thought you would know that it is always wise to check your sources before engaging in Chinese whispers. Roger went to airport and met Stan and there is no issue between the two they are like brothers and there is nothing wrong with a little brotherly jostling, after all not too long ago a certain doubles player named Jamie Murray chastised his young brother for not playing in the Davis Cup for his country.
Please just listen to this interview again, no mis-quoting by anyone. Both players lost but Roger didn't play badly, his words. Why did Stan play badly? Again Roger's words? Stan didn't have a good H2H stat against Fish to start with, where as Federer did against Isner, so he should have known how he plays and how to win. And surely the captain doesn't just chose a court without consulting his players, so that's a poor excuse.
Federer can win all the accolades he likes but he's arrogant and aloof and that's why I don't like him.

Found this piece I wrote when Federer won the French in 09. At the time, I didn't despise the man's character the way I do now. I do remember thinking how lucky he was, though, and that's the thrust of the article.
LAST MAN AT THE RAFFLE
Brilliant, Nigel! So Fed comes out with this - “
Now the question is: Am I the greatest of all time?
We don’t know, but I definitely have many things going for me because I’ve finally won all four Grand Slams, and I’m particularly happy reaching Pete’s 14.” - and that isn't arrogance?

What a dummkopf! Can't tell the difference between assassination and assignation.
Horrible wrong. Can't also use adverbs properly.
Double dummkopf!
In fairness, I don't think English is AK's first language - not that that in any way excuses what he says!

BRAVO!!! Thank you so much for writing this article, you totally filled in the gaps for me and now I found many of the missing pieces to the puzzle called "Fedevil and his countless crimes against humility".
I always said to everyone who was willing to hear (and also some that weren't) that this guy is an arrogant, hypocritical guy and I feel vindicated thanks to you and your AMAZING article! You exposed the guy for what he really is and told the simply undeniable true story.
P.S. Do you like my nickname for him, Fedevil?
Love it! That deserves to be added to the list.

Nigel, a very true article. A lot of people should read it so that they learn the true character of Roger. It is a big truth that you learn the character of a man/woman in difficult situations when you lose or are down. And to compose himself when losing is what Roger has never learned, since he`d had only a few occasions at which his character would be tested. Only a few people have realized this. It is ridiculous to call this article as biased. It merely unveils a dark side of Roger`s demeanour that exists and cannot be denied. I see no reason to balance this analysis by treating other more positive Roger`s traits. It is a shame for the media that it is has gone so long unnoticed or has been pardoned. Well done!

Weren't his knees knackered?
In his autobiography, he makes it pretty clear that his mind wasn't on the job during the French Open that year because of his parents' divorce.

Being dyslexic does not actually make you dumb at all, some of the most intelligent people of all time were also dyslexic, the fact that all you can do is come out with some vitriol rather than actually debate the issues, says much more about your failure to grasp what is being talked about than anything else, so I think you need to reserve the name calling for yourself.

Just read this in the Beecher report 'I can't believe how many tournaments I've won.' Fed said this after winning the Tournament last week. Need I say more!!!

"Overall this article is a factually inaccurate rant masqueraded as being some kind of critique on the greatest player of all time"
Thought it was pretty much spot on myself.
The factual inaccuracy comes from the end of the above statement in my opinion.

Another clear example to find negatives that just are not there!
That quote is actually a fine example of a humble athlete, 71 titles by anyone’s definition is a huge amount, so to say that you cannot believe you have won all those titles, shows that you are humbled by your achievements in a sport where winning titles against other good players is not easy let alone dominating.

Andy has said on his Facebook page that he is flying to Dubai with the guys today. Lendl is playing at the weekend in Delaray Beach Champions tournament. He will have finished by the time Andy is playing.I too can't wait to see Andy playing with the confidence he will have got from Lendl.

Yes, so what is your point? That does not mean that 71 titles is not an amazing achievement, being proud and humbled of what you have achieved is actually an admirable trait contrary to what you guys are trying to portray on here.

1, Where did Roger ever mention Connors in that quotes about being surprised to win so many titles?
2. Roger is not finished playing yet and is unlikely to go on as long as Connors did so will not end up with that amount of titles, but you have gone off topic and yet again shown your true colours by moving the goal posts when you know that Jimbo has nothing to do with this argument at all!
