su bo must have been traumatized.

He opens his Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition or she opens her boyfriend's copy and lo and behold,

  Rafa is doing something un-tennislike.

So, the logical thing to do is go to Andy's forum and rant.   roflmao

Can you believe these Fedtards?

So Fed keeps on insisting he's going to be No.1 again?  Have just looked at the scores in the Rotterdam QF and Fed just managed to squeak past fellow 30 year old Jarkko Nieminen (currently No.46) in straight sets.

When will Fed accept that he is no longer the player he was and quit boasting?  I don't recall players like Sampras and Agassi behaving like this.   Roger would be well advised to keep his mouth shut and stop making a complete ass of himself.

Such advice would never enter Federer's mind, being totally obnoxious and indifferent to anyone else's feelings.

Great piece of journalism, Nigel.

I would suggest that you follow your own advice! Also no one asked you to read the article. Just stay on a Federer site, I never go on his site as I no longer like the man and leave those who do to enjoy him. Please offer us the same courtesy and stay away.

The following comment taken from the Swiss presser after their loss in the doubles says it all about Federer IMO:

"I played well enough in doubles, but Stanislas not so much," Federer said, adding that Wawrinka "didn't have his best match in singles. It's a shame, because of that defeat we weren't able to put the U.S under pressure."

This was said with Stan sitting beside him!  He seems to have conveniently fogotten that he lost his singles in 4 sets while Stan played 5 very tight sets against a higher ranked opponent.  I'm not sure whether or not they are intending to defend their doubles title at the Olympics but if I were Stan I would give it a rethink after that comment!

Where is AK when you need him?????

Federer is saying that he didn't say anything bad about Stan now. Think

One of the reports quoting the incident.  Can't seem to find anything on tape, apart from a German interview.  Anyone any good at German? search Got one of my daughters to have a listen, and she could only pick up a few words here and there.

The US Open Presser

And a brief interview on the Davis Cup site after his loss to Isner.  Apparently he did play well (despite losing) and Stan didn't play well in his opening match Eyebrow raise.

At last someone has come out in print with the comments that I have felt ever since I watched tennis.  My husband and I have always said that Federer is arrogant but since he has begun to lose it has become obvious.  When he first came to prominence he did not have too much competition, this he himself has said.  I would never take the fact that he was a fantastic player from him but his attitude is the problem.  Perhaps he will retire soon just as most the very top players have done.

No, I have a fulfilling career as an award-winning copywriter. I play tennis to 7.2 standard, have a lovely wife and four kids, two of whom are county-ranked tennis players. I regularly run half-marathons and enjoy all kinds of writing in my spare time. On Saturdays, we all go to my mum's for tea. Does that clear that up?
