Three kings and a prince

Now that Andy has finally knocked Djokovic off his No1 perch and Federer and Nadal appear to be heading for the exit, I respectfully suggest that this thread has finally unravelled!  Long live the KIng!

Indeed, Fiverings!  Reading back through this thread now is very interesting, but -

"If this is an era of three kings, then Andy Murray is the prince in waiting. Unanointed and unappointed, the Scot is statistically now the best player never to have won a slam."

And now he's done something the three Kings have never done - win two consecutive Olympic gold singles medals and steered Great Britain into the tennis history books by winning the DC final for the first time in 79 years.
