When sending PMs, please only use emoticons that are part of MW. If you use emojis from your mobile keyboard, they can cause the message contents to not send or get broken up.

I'll update here if after looking into it I'm able to resolve that.

This is essentially fixed now. Mobile phone emojis will not break PMs but they still won't work and instead will show as "????".

So I recommend not using them but at least now it's not going to stop your PMs being read.

Yes, it's working.

However, there was a hardware migration that occurred around 1am that did not go to plan. A follow-up migration occurred around 10am. Any private messages you sent during that window will have been lost.

I should have mentioned that here but it didn't occur to me until now. I only thought about public posts.

I wrote on the tummy button thread early today too.  But none of these matter at all and I can always re-write everything.

Planned downtime tomorrow at 9am for 1-2 hours. We're moving from a New York to London datacenter - we're having speed issues from current datacenter for some reason.

Some days/weeks after that, we will migrate to a new hosting provider but will remain in London. Plan is for major cost reduction with improved performance.

Datacenter routing/bandwidth issue is so bad the migration had to be cancelled for taking too long. Really disappointing.

I'll get this scheduled in for early hours over the coming days. You'll know when it's happening as there will be a notice that appears on the error page.

We have now migrated over to the new server with a new hosting provider. It is also now located in a London datacenter.

Everything should be a bit faster now. This server is a completely new system and so somethings might possibly need tweaking. Please let me know if you run into an issues.

I think the emails were going to your spam. Since we migrated to a new server, I forgot to change the method of email sending. I've returned it to the correct method now.

Always best to whitelist murraysworld.com in your email settings to prevent this ever happening.
