What a winner! So good to see him play this well, I too feel a bit sorry for Stan but the best man won. Andy doesn’t seem to have done himself any harm by that tough match at Queens, and I’m sure he’ll give Kyle a run for his money. Good Luck Andy!

What a complete shame, he didn’t deserve that do. Well done Andy, you played superbly.

He'll probably be quite stiff and sore tomorrow after this match.
Yes indeed, all his instincts, his ability to choose the right shot, his execution, all are there, it just needs his body to remain stable but he’s getting tired. Do hope he doesn’t damage his recovery with this third set.

Tie break, don’t like those

Agree.  He has the talent but not the right mindset.

Nice to see again on here!
Haven't been very far Aileen and have enjoyed all the tennis available, will send a catch up email in a day or two.  Andy playing well and its encouraging for the future, let's hope he can maintain his recovery.

lol  He does seem pretty unhinged quite a lot of the time!
They reckon Kyrios is a future GS winner but he'll have to solve his temperament prob;em if he wants to get there, he,s far too erratic.

For those sensible folk watching other than BBC, Bouncy is dribbling away in his usual form.

Win or lose, I'm so looking fprward to an Andy match again.

I'm looking forward to seeing Andy play again, whatever the outcome. What he will do in the future when he retires from competition tennis is also of great interest. I feel he will be involved with tennis all his life, perhaps helping and promoting Britain's up and coming 'New Age' players but it would be super if this hip operation has made it possible for him to continue to compete and win a few more top matches. Good Luck, Andy.

Del P didn’t make it, Aileen and Isner may be into a good run if he continues to play like that. At least del P is beginning to reach his potential - someone to watch in future. I’ve always liked him and hope he takes a bit of a rest before the clay court season.

Oh I so wanted del P to win but....... Isner played so well.

What a roar from del Potro’s supporters! Do hope he takes this set.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen Isner play so well but del Po is off form and tired, bless him. What a pity!
