Hmm... Andy did well to win against Bye.  He's already met his point tally from last year.
He's really gotten lucky though for next round to face a qualy though, considering the masters series' draw quality

I'm not much of a fan myself, just played for 12 years and my family is into it quite a bit.
Def. enjoy following tennis more, and i can only stomach so much baseball w. all the laziness and controversy/ crappy espn commentators.

That's good reason enough.  And yea, the Mariner's suck, but not as bad as the Padres! (i think)  I like to watch ichiro though, he's one of the only 2 or 3 players i enjoy following

Yes i'm from Ca david, mr. pretend ping-pong player and prolific poster from pennsylvania (no?)

Don't worry about the name either, I prefer to keep anonymity generally (although I may have mistakenly released it somewhere in here in the last couple of years).   blink  you may simply call me tmg if you wish

Ryan Harrison looks a great prospect, no? Smile

Can't say I've seen him play.  Although I read about his win earlier this year.  He's actually playing doubles in the junior tournament with a guy who trained at a club I worked at.  We'll see I guess...

I certainly agree with that, but this year they've showed more interviews than ever! American tennis is in trouble, this much is clear... When Roddick and Blake are gone, who picks up the flag? Querrey? He's almost 20 by now and hasn't reached the third round at a slam. Isner? One trick poney. Young? Maybe... if we're very lucky.

We share the same pain... I wan't an American to root for but I don't see anything yet.  Hence, we traveled far across the dark waters of the Atlantic to a small island off the coast of Europe, where hope and glory were to be found.

Really though, you don't see the same kind of variety and style in a lot of the American's games as I do in more of the european players
