Think Murray will win but Goffin will make it a good match. Watched him against Tsonga last night and he was playing some good tennis- as said consistency was the issue.

Brilliant result! Even as a loyal Rafa fangirl as well as an Andy girl I was rooting for this but didn't expect 2 sets in the fashion that unfolded!
Was at church so was following livescore- away to watch the tennistv replay now Smile
Back to back clay titles and a Masters title against the king of clay on home soil! As andy said 'Marriage works' lol yay

Okay what is the off court drama with Wawrinka that everyone commentating on tennis is talking round but not mentioning? Obviously not coach based or they'd feel free to talk about it! So more marital difficulties?
34  General Community / Andy Talk / Re: Miami SF: Andy Murray vs Tomas Berdych on: April 03, 2015, 08:26 pm
Agree with you there Hazel, Djoker will win I guess, I'd love Andy to get another opportunity to beat him, even though there's a chance of another loss. Djoker is near the top of his game now, but he can always put it off 'cos he has the Superman confidence to help him over the line. Opponents lack 100% belief too in ability to win, not surprisingly.

Not seen you posting this week, is it me or have you been busy?
I still got my tennis ball braclets Smile

I've been busy and I have to admit to browsing rather than contributing to match threads recently. But trying to get back into the MW world again Smile Glad you still enjoy the bracelets, I'm planning on getting some more in stock to shift as we get into to the part of the year where more folk are following tennis.

Also working on my brothers orders of service (4 weeks tomorrow is the wedding!) so been watching the tennis but not had free hands to type!

100% 1st serve % should do the job

With a couple hit to the body to incapacitate Nole a bit lol Hope Isner can make it competitive though, if he can play like he played against Kei it could be entertaining- still only see one winner though!

Me too and its nice to hear from you again.

I know, I've decided to be more sociable again (and my real life tennis mad friend has been busy this week so not been able to enjoy our joint obsession with tennis!)

yay Nicely done. If I didn't have to be up early then I'd be interested in watching to see if Isner can do anything to make life difficult for Nole

I get the impression Andy wants another Masters title as a wedding present to himself lol

(Loving Kim's nice floppy hat so she doesn't have a peeling nose on the big day)

After not putting a foot wrong most the week Berdych seems to have lost the plot a bit here today...not that I'm complaining but was expecting this to look tenser

Anyone else think a bagel in coming up now?

Wouldn't surprise me but also wouldn't surprise me if Dolgo tried to make a go of it- but if Nole loses this 3rd set I'd be shocked and then some. and since nothing in tennis sounds more boring that Isner v Raonic following this- I'm off to bed! lol

And he remembered who was down the other end and how close he could be to beating him Frown
42  General Community / Tennis Talk / Re: ATP/WTA Tour - The Other Players on: March 31, 2015, 11:47 pm
Actually I have no idea- if Nole takes the 2nd set then he'll win it in the 3rd. But actually Dolgo isn't going away and tennis is great because it just comes down to a few key points Smile
43  General Community / Tennis Talk / Re: ATP/WTA Tour - The Other Players on: March 31, 2015, 11:43 pm
Haze.. I expect Nole to win in the end.

Leafie.. I think the dog should stick to rapping in his off court time.

Oh I do too- just wondering Smile

Dolgopolov reminds me of Goran in the way he plays and personality at times, not in style but in the way he is so top notch when on form

I like Nole but don't mind him being proved human now and again. The difference being Dolgo might win here and then lose easliy next round- Nole has the consistency at such a high level. But would be good to see
