Remember Fish against Murray in Cincy, he thought he would beat Andy having beaten him on their 2 previous meetings, and what happened.... Andy won. I expect a similar result against Berdych, come in and think you can beat Andy and a lesson is given, pride comes before a fall.

I'm with you - I think  nervous

Agree, but unfortunately Federer is looking as though he's coming on to some good form again. Even although I agree that he wasn't exactly pushed in either Basel or Paris. All we can hope is that Nadal knackers him when they play - and he doesn't retain all his winning 1500 points from last year. I really want Andy to keep the No3 spot for the Aussi Open

Before the draw I was hoping for

Djokovic
Murray
Ferrer
Tsonga.......

it's nearly a great draw for Andy, apart from Berdych that is. He (Berdych) will be quite confident that he can beat Andy again as he's won the last two matches they have played this year (i think) and Andy will have that niggling at the back of his mind. But still a good draw, all in all.

Can anyone tell me when the draw is being made?
51  General Community / Andy Talk / Re: Murray's Ranking on: October 09, 2011, 10:52 pm
Andy had 7415pts before Tokyo. The win gives him 500pts, which replace his 45pts from Valencia. That gives him a total of 7870pts. He's defending 1000 at Shanghai, which means he starts with 6870 points.
Federer has 8380pts. His zero-pointer from Tokyo last year will fall off, allowing him to count his Davis Cup points (15pts), for a total of 8395 points. Removing his Shanghai points therefore gives him 7795pts.

All this means that if Andy wins Shanghai, he will overtake Federer.

Well these 2 have met 17 times so far and it doesn't matter how many times Andy has lost to Rafa, he's always looks forward to playing him.

It's going to be a tough match for Andy to overcome Rafa but he can do it and he just needs to remember that.

I have a 2 hour window to watch this match and I would like it done in that time - are you listening Andy! Very Happy

Wonder if Andy's seen/heard anything of the devastation following the tsunami/earthquake earlier this year?  Seen a half hour doco on beeb world today.  So very shocking still.

Don't know if he would really have had much time Bev. between flying in from Bangkok and the schedule he has had this week with singles and doubles

Long time no see or talkie Lucky Loser!  wave
