Such a typical Andy roller coaster: two sets down, 2 tie breaks and a decider in the 5th! What a way to go
So much fighting spirit, so much magic, so much to savour. And those lovely tributes at the end 
I will miss him soooo much 
But for me two things 1) hate to see him grimacing with pain 2) hate to see him lose to any Tom, Dick and Harriet he would have trounced in the past, so bitter sweet.
Thanks for the good times Andy, the highs so worth the lows.   
Very early days but I am looking forward to seeing what he does next.
And very big  to everyone on here whose shared  the joy and the sadness.

No. I believe Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize for being the first non-white President. That award was before the bombing in Syria

Perhaps the reason for Andy's non-attendance at the Palace for his knighthood was due to his often repeated comment that he probably didn't expect such an honour until he had retired from active playing.

Andy has rarely done himself any favours in exhibition tournaments. Wait until he starts playing in earnest when it matters.

Incidentally, Andy unlike many of Team GB gold- medal winners at the victory celebrations sang the National Anthem and did so with pride. His face told it all.

OSS there is an online company that sells dvds of most tennis matches.    It's called Tennis DVD World.  Give them a few days and I'm sure they'll have it.  I bought some of the 2012 Olympics matches.  They're cheap and good quality.

Obviously, I am disappointed with Andy's last night's defeat, but to be honest I wasn't totally surprised. During the whole of his matches throughout Cincinnati, he looked tired and drained, which is understandable owing to his magnificent efforts in Rio
