Question Murray's fitness again? Didn't we realise he can play marathon matches of high quality? Or have we forgotten?
Yes you point out todays and 2013 AO final match as an example but then it could easily be pointed out that he went to 5 sets with the joker in US 2012. I think questioning his fitness over the joker is wrong, he can stay toe to toe.
This match definitely came down to Murray's mentality not physical shape. He was distracted by jokers 'injuries' and then he let it slip, thus going into his mental decline that we've seen too often before. It's a big shame Ivan wasn't there anymore, he had this a lot less with him. If Ivan was still his coach right now, Murray would be a 3 time slam winner.

To be honest I think RG just has really poor organisation of its matches, as we saw with Murray's matches last year. They start far too late, I mean tomorrow is starting at 2pm local time and they've still got a set to finish before the new matches begin.

Latest from twitter:
5 live's Jonathan Overend at Roland Garros: "Murray surely fine. That was no 'fitness test'. A gentle workout. Hard stuff done away from the cameras, I would guess."
1325: Fresh from Roland Garros by BBC Sport's Piers Newbery: "Andy Murray looks set to take on Viktor Troicki at the French Open on Monday after coming through a practice session unscathed as he tested out his injured ankle."
And a good point about the possibility of Murray playing tomorrow: "Careful what you wish for, Guys. If the Mint has to play tomorrow he might be cream-crackered for his match on Wednesday."

Guess no one has put this up because of all the doubt, but here it is anyway. The expected match time is 1600 BST, with Murray delaying his decision right up until the match. While today Murray has had a gentle practise, it seems there must be enough doubt for him to delay the decision. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/9500179.stm Twitter earlier today: Vibes I'm getting about Murray being able to give it a go in his 4th rd tomorrow are positive but nothing official yet." from Daily Mail tennis correspondent Mike Dickson So who knows??

They do.
Just another bandwagon outright market like pre AO, instead of Fedal it's Rafole with the same complacency that form will hold.
They do to an extend, but the algorithms they use will only put so much weight on that... taking a set from Nadal and almost beating an in form player don't compare to consistancy and past Slam performance

From a bookies view it makes sense to have odds staked agaisnt Murray, he still hasn't beaten Nadal or Novak on clay, nor won a clay title. They don't take into account the way he played is much better than hes ever played on clay and that he came really close to beating Nadal and Novak.

With Djokovic's form, I'd be more than happy if Murray proves a test for him and takes him to three sets. However, I do believe that Murray would be the one stop Djokovic's run of victories, even if it is on clay. Murray can win this I'm sure, it just really depends on the Murray that turns up I guess.
