I don't think there was any hypocrisy actually. And the mods did a fine job just like they're doing on the new forum. But now I'm repeating myself so I really should move on. As should everyone else.

Thing is, we all have different views/perspectives and should agree to disagree at the end of the day. Very understandable that people were offended and I'm fine with that.

This is a great forum. I'm really enjoying it.

Yep, true, I guess we'll never know for sure. I'd never heard of the show before and I don't think I'll ever watch it again. But I certainly wasn't offended. But I was offended at the vitriol and hatred shown to longtime members of the forum. And I'm glad it's all over now. I won't read the nasty stuff on here. If there is any, I mean. I do enjoy some of the threads you've got going. Really interesting.

Glad to see a new forum is up with most of the old am.com members minus the troublemakers - thank goodness!!! Won't miss 'em.

Does anyone on here care about the stupid video? Has there been a huge uproar? No. It was way more than the video. Some people just wanted to cause trouble and that's what they did. It's happened before. A huge mountain was made out of a tiny molehill by certain individuals.

At the end of the day, I'm disappointed that Andy and/or his team don't seem to care about his fans. So why should we care about him? Beggars belief.

I find that when the moderators make a decision that is highly controversial, and one that is not a judgement of a individual's future, it's better to take it out of the hands of the mods and bring it to a public vote. That will generally put a halt to constant complaining from those that do not agree with the decision.

Maybe but in this case certain individuals had an agenda beyond this daft video (imho). They didn't like the fact some of us staunch Andy fans are also Rafa fans and they wanted to make lots of trouble. The mods had to stem it. I thought they were rather reasonable. It's not like discussion stopped.
