Woohoo Andy Canas is 2 sets down and a break down in the 3rds (4-2 so unless he pulls a miracle out of the hat Andy should be facing lee in the next round
They should definately win this one Bhupathi just won in Montreal so will be on a real high plus looking ahead to round 2 he and Visner beat the Bryans on the way so no reason why they can't do really well in this one assuming that they gel well together
Bhupathi is the sort of player that Jamie should be playing with he has won 40 titles including several master series as well as the US open and Roland Garros.
I know I will get shouted at but Missing Wimbledon is arguabley the best thing that could have happened to Andy the tournament turned into a fiasco with bad management.
Singles Players playing several days on the trot. Sheer exhaustion and injury from Gasquet and Djokovic gave Nadal and Federer virtual Walkovers into the final. Federer had a easy time of it.
If it wasn’t for the fact nadal has the constitution and stamina of a ox we would never had such a thrilling final. Andy will have the freshest legs of all the top players come the end of the year.
He is only defending 75 points at Paris and Madrid plus Bangkok and Tokyo has only 5 if he can win one or both of those and get perhaps SF or better at the MS he will be right up on top
Can Jamie earn bucket loads of points by doing well in both the mixed and Gentlemens Doubles or do players just play the mixed for the experience and money.
I watched the match yesterday on interactive but expected it to be mentioned on the website its not even covered on ATP or Wimbledon websites you would think that the defending champions being knocked out would be worthy of a mention.
I know that the brits are all out in the singles but why no mention of the doubles Alex Bogdanovic and Melanie south played the game of their life to defeat the defending champions Mike Bryan and Lisa Raymond in the second round of the mixed doubles there are british players left in bothe the mens and the mixed doubles. Why no mention of the wins yesterday by either jamie or Alex and melanie. I personally love doubles it is fun to watch and I always look forward to wimbledon as it seems to be the only chance to watch it.
ATP site has a summary of the season so far. Andy is mentioned twice in the stats. Even Tim gets a mention as the fourth oldest player in the top 100 lol
