i've never really thought of going anywhere in the UK, really, for a holiday. i have had the idea recently though that it'd be fun to treck around the UK, on a shoestring. ciould be fun to see how far i'd get. i love going to Corsica, love for beaches, mountain treks and heat- although if you're looking for a party holiday i don't suggest it!!! it is very much a sleepy island...

other than that...i liked south africa very much when i went, breathtaking scenery sometimes and great people. i went on safari too! very cool. it was a land of massive contrast, in terms of wealth. i stayed with a family whilst there that had a house that seemed to be bigger that my neighbourhood, and then went to the townships, where the people had built their houses up from the ground with their bare hands. i also thought Russia was very interesting with its history, it is also a place with massive contrasts, in terms of wealth and beauty. loved it. it has been several years since i've been though.

ok, here goes...you know you're obsessed with queen when...

1. you know all of the member's names, instruments, and dates of birth
2. you tell everybody you know this information, and then you quiz them on it at regular intervals, just to make sure they've remembered
3. you remember the anniversary of freddie mercury's death and you mark it every year with a minutes silence
4. you also know his real name AND how to spell it (Farokh Bulsara - doesn't really have the same ring to it does it?)
5. you have a crush on roger taylor, even though he's older than your dad, and now unfortunatlely looks it
6. you look out for an aston martin (roger taylor owns one) every time you are out *just in case*
7. you learn all the words to all the queen songs, and recite them during discussions to illustrate your point.
8. ...even when they're not relevant
9. ...or wanted
10. if you sold your memorabilia you'd have enough money to buy a house
11. ...but you'd rather keep the memorabilia. and last but not least
12. you make your name freddie may on a message board about tennis!!!

I'm not a good enough person to live by those rules but I really respect you for that.

nah, your not a worse person for eating meat and wearing leather...you just don't have the same moral code. i don't eat meat any more...but would if they stopped killing them so cruely. and, i'm wearing leather doc's...

i'm scared of deep water, or rather, what may or may not be underneath me when i'm in it...

i'm also scared of wind. and i am slightly predidant around spiders sometimes, especialy the ones with the  REALLY long thin legs...*shudders*
