Well one incident happened to my face not written like I said, and I honestly didn't know how to react to it and was very pissed off. I'm just saying you need to think before you speak.
Well I don't really care tbh, you have such a warped view of who I am anyway, nothing I say on here would change that. And you can flaunt your "lorna was a witness" as much as you like, but what's happened happened and if I was correcting the ignorant, then you probably deserved whatever it was. If you were very pissed off, I don't remember you showing it. Ipso facto, not my problem, clearly it still bothers you as you continue to dredge up the past. This topic was never about me specifically but you had to make it that way. Get. A. Life. On your topic relevant point, I'd disagree - some people are very very different, but I've found a lot of people to be fairly similar to who they are online.

You just can't help yourself can you? If I am rude and insulting I probably mean to be tbh.
Alternatively, if i genuinely don't know that i am doing so people should be able to respond accordingly (either by insulting me back, or telling me that they feel hurt by it - I can then either a) apologise or b) back up my words with reasoning for their being used). If you don't say anything how am I to know that I have potentially done wrong, or that you have taken my response in the way I intended it to be written?

That's one problem about us all being so aware of what we should be looking for and checking ourselves for lumps etc...as soon as we get the tiniest thing, that a few years back no one would have really worried about, we rush off to the doctors Not saying we shouldn't get things checked out, but we're so much more aware of the worst case scenarios now So why is it a problem?

Miracles do happen It's not a miracle. They followed procedure, into the safety shaft, had enough food/water to survive, are getting supplies now. It's just about getting them to stay mentally strong. It's not a miracle.

Did you get rid of it yourself?
It went away by itself. Saw the doc, as I thought "it was a lump" but was in and out in less than 30 seconds. Took about 4 weeks to disappear completely. Flared up over about 4 to 5 days before I got it seen to and was mildly itchy and irritating (mainly due to location on inner leg rather than it being irritable of it's own accord)

Giving up on the Police thing?
Temporarily yes, because recruitment is mostly frozen across the country, probably for 2 or 3 years. Will reconsider after that and see where I am at with this other job. If I can continue moving up, might be silly by then to pack it in. But then again, I might get bored and want to do something different. Time will tell And thanks all. woop woop.

I don't think it is childlike to be offended by someone making a joke about autism. Seemed to me that Hazel was laughing about it, as per the in her post (above). In addition, she then admitted she had been making a joke. Funny coming from the person who was so insensitive in another thread very recently..... talk about hypocritical.

It depends who I'm talking too I don't have a distinct regional accent- I don't think but everyone agrees I sound Scottish and places me as such automatically However, my manner of speaking is normally quite proper, my mum didn't want me sounding like I was from West Lothian because the accents are awful and that's coming from a Geordie My accent is similar to that. I say "huv" instead of pronouncing "have", but that's my only inflection that's noticeable to people, at least from different parts of Scotland. I certainly don't sound like I'm from Fife, or (heaven forbid) Dundee, despite being trapped between them! But yeah, people can tell I am Scottish anyway. Irish is general is easy to pick up if you are around it long enough.

I tend to pick up the accent of people I'm speaking to if they're Welsh or Northern....otherwise, I'm pretty neutral. I believe Neil thinks I sound posh...
I honestly can't place where I would put your voice now, it's been that long
