I see I've been criticised for not having it, and even been called 'insane', but my feelings towards it are the same as yours, i.e. I might consider having it at a later date. Meanwhile given all the precautions I take plus the fact that I don't often see anybody, I'd say that my chances of contracting covid aren't very high. Also by not having it at least it meant that one other person who might really have needed it could have had it.
Aileen I meant I was willing to wait to see the end result of the vaccination programme rather than be in competition over it. I actually had my first dose nearly 3 weeks ago and had no problem with it. Like you, I would have been willing to wait and let someone who has to be out and about have theirs but that would further complicate a difficult enough task.
