Isn't it better for Andy to play cautious rather than high risk tennis against this tricky opponent, especially as this is their first meeting for four years?
He got punished one too many times for being ultra cautious in the 2nd set. It also sends signal to his opponent that he is a bit afraid of playing more aggressive tennis. IMO Andy should have mixed it up a bit more but his strategy was to slow things down instead. It worked in the end though and he is slightly more aggressive in this set. The crowd kind of felt his nervousness as well so they weren't as sure either. It's a strange match for me.
