This spring seems very odd to me. What is the point of it.  Am very surprised that there wasn't an accident. I can only imagine that it was like all sports definitely only about 'money'. Obviously there has to be money but this kind of thing spoils it for me in any sport.

What a run England are on. Best weeks for me having been brought up by a FA coach and  referee and a tennis umpire.

They do ,of course, get a yearly increment as well as any pay rise. Primary care admin staff do not and sometimes in the past the GPS did not pass on any governments rise. The nurses were always given the pay rise on top of their incrememt.

I agree that climate change is a natural occurrence but I think we have accelerated by the emissions and so the plants and animals do have time to adjust.

Boogers,  They did not book my second jab but I only had the invitation for the first one the day before. They seem to be  set organised here. All the surgeries around here are working together.

I had the AstraZeneca vac on Friday. I was very impressed with the organisation and was through in just 20 minutes. We have started on the 75 + group here in Woking. I had a slight headache on Saturday morning that was the only side effect. I don't even have a sore arm. The volunteers were marvellous.

I thought Andy only played two matches and the others played three.

Chris Whitty has been pushing for Christmas to be cancelled for at least one month. Wasn't he the one that originally wanted herd immunity( a fallacy as you need 80% f the population to become infected). I have a certain amount of sympathy with the politicians when even the scientists and medical boffins cannot make up their minds. I do agree that Christmas needed to go ahead but with perhaps 2 days instead.

I see that the latest execution would not have happened if the prosecutors had produced all the evidence they had. Perhaps it was because he was black!

I see Bill Barr has said there was no fraud in the election. This is a huge blow to Trumps team.

I see there is a republican judge who wants all absentee ballots thrown out even his and his wife's in Wisconsin. They really do have a huge problem other US.

The NHS  needs more money so why on earth are they sending out letters asking people to have their flu jab. My husband and have had one although we had them one month ago at the surgery.
I worked. In a surgery for 20 years and the amount of waste was incredible. With co coordination between departments so much could have been saved.
