Well they're not a threat to the UK still.

Our nukes are pretty useless, they're not stopping this invasion happening. Maybe if Ukraine and Taiwan had some nukes, then we might be seeing something different. The West could easily supply them some, but then they don't actually want nukes in a place where they might actually get used.

Ukraine isn't even going to retaliate. They'll fight the war on their own soil and then lose and then give up. Crimea 2.0

No missiles will be fired into Moscow.

The bigger question is still whether China will ever decide to go hmm. And at what point would the West actually decide to properly intervene. How far are we actually willing to let Russia and China push?

I think Djoko enjoys missing out on slams for stupid reasons, starting to be a pattern. If he never gets slam no. 21 I'm sure he'll look back on his idiocy with great regret.

Sunak seems rather popular and has kept away from most of the shit. I'm sure he'll have no trouble taking down Starmer. And it's very, very obviously going to be him, pretty much primed up to be.

Novak and his team are such idiots.

I have no idea why he didn't just do what I suggested: which was to pay off a doctor to say he was vaccinated.

I mean it would have been a lot cheaper and easier than this mess and it's certainly nothing to do with the morality of it as he's clearly not minded lying about testing positive for covid of which he then also had to lie about going out whilst positive that also had the self-inflected consequence of making him look like a complete cuunt.

Some people's level of stupidity always amazes me. What an absolute cock-up he's made of all this. And on-top of all of it, it's all been about a moronic self-righteous load of crock in the first place.

Why doesn't he just pay a doctor off to say he's been given it?

Roger might go but Rafa and Nole will keep going and trying to get to 21 and above the others. I don't see it happening though. Seems apt that they all end on an equal 20.

Nothing lasts forever, age gets us all. Been a very long and ridiculous run and think that was the final curtain. Said before I hope Medvedev becomes the next world no 1 and leads the pack of the coming next era. Really hope it's not Tsitsipas at the very least.

Was just a bit of nerves and crowd distracting on last serve. Taken the win now. Novak was miles off.

Only thing that can happen now is if Medvedev gets scared of the win. Don't think he's a mentally weak player like that though. Danill gonna be a force to be reckoned with going forward, always said he's the best of the next gen who will be dominating.

The way Novak lost this match and the history that was on the line... this one is gonna be tough for Novak to get over and comeback. Truly feels finally like the end of the era, like the changing of the gaurd, the big 3 are over. Amazing if they all end on 20 slams a piece.. the GOAT debate will go on forever.

What music?  I missed the first two sets.
Someone played music through the main speakers on break point after Novak got back a 2nd serve return.

Novak fallen apart. Medvedev been very good

Wonder if that music playing was deliberately done by a staff member? They may have changed the entire outcome of the match, but we'll never know.

Let's face it though, there is a huge gap in the market in the WTA tour for a player or two to just come along and dominate. The fact that an 18yo can come through qualifiers and win without dropping a set, whilst credit to Emma for doing it, rather goes to show still the dismal state of the WTA.

Smashed the tournament to pieces. Just a crazy run of good form or a future megastar? Too early to tell of course but what a story.

Got to say these are the most exciting finals in a long time. History on the line in both matches. Not gonna be missing these!
