GB drawn to face USA away in 2014, then either Argentina or France.

USA will be interesting. They have the Bryans of course so we might not win the doubles, but all the singles rubbers will be fascinating.

There has also been a suggestion that the first 4 rounds of a Slam would be best of 3, and then the 1/4, semis and finals would be best of 5. Interesting idea- it might be the best of both worlds and might also relieve some of the ridiculous scheduling issues in the first few days of a Slam.

I'd also like to see that format for the women.

In Court Confidential Neil Harman says he always viewed Murray as a potential winner at RG, but he doesn't say what he bases that on!

I don't like that switch back to clay in the middle. Part of me hopes he pulls out but I don't think he will.

Also, who reckons Federer will retire? My husband thinks the only things stopping him are Nike, Moét and Chandon, and Rolex!

Not a chance I can watch I'm too sleep deprived to deliberately stay awake, although if he gets to the final that might be different. Though my kid will wake me at least once during the match so I'll keep an eye on the score.

I also preferred the tight shirts but I do like him in blue.

I think Andy in 3. He might still be a bit rusty but I don't think the match timing will affect him too much.

I have never seen the interview Murray did with Sue Barker in the studio- I think they interrupted the mixed dubs final for it? Is it on youTube anywhere?

I don't really care how well he does this week. An early exit gives him prep time and clearly did him no harm at all last year for the USO. A win might give him a boost, as Queen's did before Wimbledon (and he faced some pretty tough opponents there). So either way I won't read too much into it.
