I still can't believe it. That last game I was shaking and then when HE WON I was shaking and crying and laughing all at the same time. I don't think I've ever wanted anything for someone else as much. I couldn't give a toss about 77 years- I wanted Andy to win it for himself, for his dedication and talent and sacrifice and hard, hard work for all these years- no one has ever deserved it more.

I was too nervous to be on here yesterday. When he won I was crying and laughing and shaking all at once. What a man. I don't think I'll ever be as nervous again for any of his finals, and there will be many of them. I really want him to beat Fed in a final, but I'm not sure how likely that is- will Fed get to any more Slam finals??

I am so, so proud of him though. As he said afterwards he never gave up even though he knew he wasn't playing his best. And I LOVED that answer he gave to the moronic question about how hard it is to keep on reaching semis- "Yea, it's hard. It's really hard". One of the main things I love about him is that he has zero capacity for bullshit.

I don't think Andy's going to have too much difficulty with this one. He raises his game as he needs to and I don't think we've seen anywhere close to his best yet. He's saving that for Sunday!
