Muzzard to dismantle Nishi in 3 easy sets. Nishi is running on fumes now, it's Muzzard's to lose.

VAMOS Clayray.

Just unacceptable. That's 2 victories he's just handed to Dimitrov now. This one and Wimbledon 2014...

Need to stop watching Andy matches live. He's 1-3 when I've been in attendance. All of his losses have been poor performances as well, the one vs Rafa not so much, he was trying, but his game was just not there. The Wimbledon 2014 loss to Dimitrov and the WTF 2014 loss to Fed were dire matches to watch live.

Why didn't he ask for Sunday, Tuesday and thursday ?

Makes sense to have a light schedule now. He's qualified for WTF's etc and therefore no vulturing like last year. Only thing that's gonna be a pain is the drop of points from the events he won last year, I think it amounts to 1000 with two 250's and a 500, and although he's ahead of SmugFed in the race which I guess we should be looking at now, it's not a huge gap separating them.

He went from US Open to clay within one week in 2013 and won just before his op.  He must have been much more pain that time.  I am sure he will play WTF. I am also sure he will play more than one tournie before the WTF.

Completely forgot about that. Well remembered.

If he's only playing two events between now and the WTF's I don't see why he'd need to skip the WTF's... it just makes no sense.
13  General Community / Tennis Talk / Re: Davis Cup 2015 on: September 22, 2015, 08:56 pm
Not fact. Your interpretation as expressed through metaphor.

No, he stated he's considering skipping a MANDATORY EVENT 2 months before said event. If he hadn't said a thing then there wouldn't be an issue. Now if he does withdraw due to injury both everyone on the ATP, the Tennis fan community, the Tennis community and the ATP know why he's skipped it.

I feel calling Andy stupid is a case of pot calling kettle black! Also the others you quoted did not have to carry the whole team. Djokovic had players in the team seeded way above ours, Berdych the same, and the Spanish had so many higher seeds. So how dare you tell Andy to stop whining when he has carried the team to the Finals.

I'll say what I like.

He did not carry the team to the Finals,  without James Ward, Dan Evans, Colin Fleming, Ross Hutchins etc we wouldn't have even been in the World Group, so lets not act like Andy did all the work.

He shot himself in the foot and that's fact.

It isn't the extra practice he wants Connor, just more time to get used to the change of surface from hard to clay - if in fact clay it is - otherwise his back could give him problems, something that happens to a lot of players if the change in surface is too sudden,

I'll be very surprised if he gets banned, but he'll certainly get fined a substantial sum if he misses the WTF, not that he can't afford it.  However, if they do threaten to give him a ban (how long for I don't know), then he really has no option other than to play.

The WTF's is slower than clay.
