Yamor wants the standard predictions for today. Not entirely sure what they are, higher rank in 3 is it?

I think so!

Nope, I wasn't generalising. All I meant to point out was how interesting it was that normally a complaint against religious people is that they're often intolerant of others, but here if anything its the opposite...

Well, I wouldn't describe Clydey as intolerant. He might have made some snappy comments, but that's not the same as being intelorant.
I like it that someone finally dares to 'mock' (I can't find a lighter word for it) religion and the followers. It often happens in other arguments, so why not with this one.

Dentie, I meant there was disrespect in Clydey's comments just know since this thread was reawakened. Where did I mention you?

In the generalisation that the disrespect was caused by non-believerS.

The words 'ignorance' and 'stupidity' are insulting, regardless of the way in which they were meant. They carry negative connotations which can't go unnoticed.

Just for the record, I never used those terms.

I don't think any of the 'religious belief' has disagreed with your right to not believe in creationism?

I wasn't talking about the right to believe or disbelieve, but the belief itself. Yamor said there was disrespect, while in my opinion people are just disagreeing on the existence of God here.

It's unnatural.

Actually, animals don't make a distinction between female and male when it comes to trying to reproduct. If there's anything natural in the world, it's animals.

Good posting!

as i said on the other thread, the only people who seem to have no respect for other people are the anti-religious people!

How?! Nobody here said something insulting, merely disagreeing. If that is disrespectful, I would find it very disrespectful as well that religious people would disagree with my disbelief.
I don't see why it has to be such a taboo, perhaps it's insecurity among the believers...?

It's neither of those things. It's cheating as it's illegal to completely stop in the middle of the run up like that. He's been getting away with it for years so I'm glad he's started to miss some big ones this season (ie, West Ham, Barcelona and this one). That was the worst I've seen him do it and it would surely have been disallowed had he scored.
I can't work out what the advantage of it is supposed to be anyway. From my experience, it's certainly much easier to kick a ball running at it than it is to stop start and hit it from an almost stationary position.

I didn't know it was in the rules. I just assumed such a movement would be classified as a feint.

Either way, I still believe the movement was made so he could take a very precise penalty, but it went wrong. Surely the reason he did it wasn't *only* because it's 'illegal'.
