I know some of the ladies have read the Diana Galbadon Outlander series of books, I've just found out that production of a 16 part series starts in October this year, it's being filmed in Scotland for an American TV company, Jamie Fraser being played by that well known actor Sam Heughan I only read the first book but really enjoyed it, hope they make a good job of this, it's being directed by the guy that did Battlestar Galactica. Their even going to be building a new television studio outside Glasgow to make this.
Just heard on Reporting Scotland that Andy has really made the big time, he will be appearing in the 75th edition of the Beano along with his mum, they showed some of the cartoons, really funny roll on a cameo in the Simpsons.
Lol, yeah, I'll be watching with my Game Set and Murray T-shirt on, c'mon Andy don't make it a nail biter, I so hope he plays like he did against Federer at the Olympics, he just has to remember what that feeling was like
Definitely, got the biccies to go with the cuppa or the ice to go with the spiced rum, I'll decide which one I need once the first few games are completed I can't believe after all these years I still have trouble watching his matches, I'll probably end up recording and then keep jumping in and out until I'm sure he's winning
I didn't know where to post this so just started a new thread, don't know whether this has been commented on this already but has anyone seen the YouTube song about Andy, you can download it and a percentage goes to charity, it's called Under the Lights by Keith Meisner, I really like it
Can't wait to watch the replay tonight, wonder when it will sink in for Andy, he just looked shocked at the end, so pleased for him, read something on line this morning that made me smile, a reporter said to Andy he didn't look very happy and Andy replied "I'm happy on the inside" Brilliant stuff Andy, many more to come.
I was wondering if the joker match would be finished tonight, all the better for Andy anyway to have been on first and got his over and done with, more often than not it has always been his matches that have been carried over so it's good to have the scheduling a bit better for him this year, no excuses not to lift his first Grand Slam title I'm feeling a bit tipsy just now, had a wee spiced rum and coke, or two, just to keep the nerves in check. Well done Andy.
I really wish I could see the match, thanks for all the commentary though folks, sounds like he's turning it on now, I'll just need to wait till tomorrow to watch the match on Eurosport. C'mon Muzzah
I missed the match - anyone know a link to a recording of match? Thanks
It's being repeated on Eurosport today at 1pm, if you have Eurosport, that's the only way I can watch them, but it's easier to enjoy the match knowing the outcome
