Quite frankly I'm beginning to believe that anything is possible as far as Andy is concerned.  I thought I'd have to wait at least another year or two to  to see Murray take on Federer in a tournament final - how wrong I was Exclamation  I don't think Federer will be relishing the prospect of this one - let's face it the pressure is all on him.  I hope Andy can relax and play a good match, whatever the outcome.

Today I thought Andy came through another hurdle, as he didn't really play as well as he could, and he still won the match.  Sign of a champ!  The boy oozes charisma.

GOOD LUCK ANDY Very Happy  Very Happy

Be afraid Federer...... be very afraid.... if not for tomorrow, then for a whole lot of other tomorrows that are coming your way as far as Mr. Murray is concerned.

GO THE FLYING SCOTSMAN!!!

I don't think the media will be too unkind if Murray loses tomorrow because he really is not expected to win this one.  I am keeping everything crossed as I'd love to see him go through.  However, I think he has surpassed all expectations and I am sooooooooo delighted for him.  The boy just didn't do good - the boy done absolutely great Exclamation  Smile More pleeeeaaase

I have to agree with much of what David said about Murray.  I think he has the potential to be his own worst enemy, or (please God) the potential to be one of the greatest players British tennis has ever seen.  Taking advice he doesn't like may be something that Murray finds particularly difficult to do, and I believe that overcoming that may play a huge part in how his future career progresses.  Having self belief is absolutely crucial, but there's a fine line between that and not having the humility to listen to those who really do know better.  I believe Murray posseses a charasmatic character that carries with it a huge will, and he will need someone with an equally huge character to lead him to even greater success.

Having said all that the boy (and he is only a boy) is 18 years old and has achieved so much already, and for that he has to be applauded.  Like David said, the ball really is in Murray's court now, and I hope he continues to mature and improve so that us Murray fans can have lots to cheer about in the future.
