Chris Hoy is being awarded the Freedom of Edinburgh later this month so I'm not surprised if Andy will follow for Stirling. I think he would go through with it, home means a lot to him. Smile

Nice article Dani. Didn't realise they lived in Surrey, the ATP site has his residence down as London. confused I wonder what area they live.

Kim comes across very normal and down-to-earth, unlike some of the other WAGs like Berdych's girlfriend or Brooklyn Decker. Which is one of the main reason we love her I think.

Also, welcome moblek. Smile

They live in Oxshott, Surrey. I read somewhere that it's full of celebrities and footballers because Chelsea have a training ground in the area.

According to the article I read, anyway!Oh my god,you might see him!!!You lucky, lucky thing!!

Holy crap! You're right, it's on Friday. It starts just down the road from my University.  Very likely Andy could be there.

BEYOND HYPERVENTILATING.

I think he might be luckier than Djokovic-I just read an article on the Telegraph website, which is obviously meant for publication tomorrow-or rather, later today (the match last night has messed up my sleeping lol!),that said "Murray flew back to his home Tuesday night". It could be wrong,of course, and he might well be snapped around New York tomorrow-but it would make sense that they'd want to go home at night so there'd be way more chance of a private arrival, rather than a big media fuss.In the article,he said he'd like to make it to the Olympic parade in Glasgow on Friday-it'd make sense he'd need a few days at home before something like that,if he can get them.
Guess we'll see whenever he pops up!Hope we see him at the parade Smile

The parade is on Friday? Say what, I'm going to Glasgow on Friday w00t yay

Awesome.

Jez Green, Andy Murray's fitness coach, talks Sportsmail through the body of the US Open champion: Click here for full story

Basically he has got the stamina of a middle distance runner, 800-1500metres, and the speed of a sprinter.

His 100m time would be around 11sec, which does not stand out that much but it is his speed over 20m that is exceptional. He is able to take incredibly quick steps.

His 400m would be around 55sec; we used to do a lot of repetitions of those but have stopped now.

He is also prodigiously strong, with the capability close to that of a rugby player in the gym even though he is a tennis player and cannot be that bulky.

I've been doing this for 18 years and I have never come across anyone like him.
