Hi, I'm new here too! I'm Debbie from just outside Edinburgh.
I've been lurking here for a few weeks now, working my way through a number of threads, reading what everyone has to say, even locating the Wimbledon and US Open discussions and reliving the nerves and excitement through you guys. You all seem like a great bunch of peeps (even the less positive types

) and I look forward to having some great convos with you through 2015, the big comeback year.
What is wrong with Andy's game and what can be done? If only any of us really knew. We can all see where he's underperforming but we can only guess at what is behind the inconsistencies. My guess after much analysis? He is exhausted. It's so upsetting to see his level dip when he's shown flashes of brilliance recently. I suppose we can only have faith in Andy and his team to sort what is wrong.
I find myself becoming more and more emotionally invested in this amazing man. I just want the very best for him on and off the court. I've only been a fan since Wimby 2013 and the first tennis match I ever watched was Wimby 2012 so it's been an adventure of learning about Andy and tennis itself. I feel like I'm only now a fully fledged fan, watching all of his tournaments obsessively day and night, whatever the hour, home or at work. It's such a shame that he's hitting a hard patch right now but temporary it is, of that I'm sure.
By the way, I registered on Wednesday and chose the username doublebagel because I love the phrase. It always makes me smile. Imagine my horror when watching Thursday's match against Roger! I'm so glad Andy didn't fall victim to this fate. :-)
