Well it's not quite as simple as playing loads of tournies = better rank - he did actually do really well in several of the slams/masters events last year. Although interestingly he went straight out (after byes) of Indian Wells and Miami last year (vs Blake and vs Monfils), so the signs are good.

Mazarakis will be no walkover tho.

We don't know yet. The actual order of play hasn't been released. Seems like livescore has just made an assumption (or know for a fact) that those games will be tomorrow.

Sky is showing the matches every evening from saturday evening, so looks like Friday matches won't be live on Sky.

Yeah looks like the qualifiers get a rest day and play on sat.
51  General Community / Andy Talk / Murray's Ranking Rise through to Queen's 2006 on: March 09, 2006, 09:15 am
Nice thread I found where a guy is doing running calculations of Andy's ranking. I (and Arka and maybe others) would normally do this, but I'm just gonna sit back and relax since someone's has written it all out for us!
Activeboard thread

Andy's already up 4 to 40 as things stand. It takes into account the Sunrise Challenger too which is cool.

I guess the qualifiers will be decided and placed into the draw by the time we all wake up tomorrow (friday).

Only ones I'd like Andy to avoid are Capdeville, Bennetau and Garcia-Lopez, cos they've done half-decent stuff recently.

See you then... then.

Murray Mad, his match will be Friday or Saturday, and we'll find out which on Thursday.

Draw is out. Andy has a qualifier. Then plays Davydenko if victorious.

Hi kate, yeah apologies for the "deluded" remark, I think I meant "misinformed". Personally I just find it annoying when a reliable news source (scotsman) gets simple things wrong and confuses people.

Nice site. Keep up the good work! Smile

Sorry hula is right. I realised after writing that the 96 draw and two-week thing doesn't apply to every masters.
Cheers fo clarifying!
