I would like some help from someone knowledgeable on the Ipod touch 3G please. 

Issues I would like to resolve are :

1) 5 licenses limit

Does anyone know how to restore itune (after a hard disk format) WITHOUT losing one of the 5 licenses please ?

Each time you sync your ipod with itune that it doesn't recognise, one of the 5 licenses is used up.

The problem is that once all 5 licenses are used up, then I will no longer be able to sync my ipod with itune without losing all apps downloaded on my ipod.

Due a graphics card problem on my PC which I thought to be software,  I have reformatted the C drive twice !
The first time, I reinstalled itune which is not recognised with the ipod touch so 2 of the 5 licenses are gone.  The first license is used when I first installed itune.

After I reformatted the C drive the second time, I don't want to resynchronise my ipod with itune again because I will lose another of the 5 licenses.

Presently, I am unable to sync without using up another of the precious 5 licenses.


2) Music Video Folder ?

Does anyone know how to arrange music videos into albums or folders to categorise them ?

In three days, I have managed to build up to about 50 music videos (favourite music from youtube) and put them into the ipod.  Unfortunately they are all listed in one place so it takes a long time to scroll through them and they are not categorised making them difficult to find.


3) Any way to simply Drag and Drop MP3 music into the ipod ?

On the Sony MP3 player, it is very simple to drag and drop MP3 music onto it AND off it. 

With the ipod and itune,  we have to
a) Create a library and add files/albums to it
b) move these albums/files from the library into the ipod and sync

We lose much more time having to do this and because we use an external harddisk to store our music, when we plug in an external drive, it can get allocated a different drive letter.

Itune gets confused because it can no longer find the file that was on a different drive letter.  We now know of a way to remap the drive to Z drive but we have to do everytime we turn on the PC.

We have lost so much time with itune.  It is not intuitive and forces us to use its crappy and limited functions.

Is there any simple way / program to drag and drop music (music), Music Video into folders within the ipod at will ?


4) 9 pages app limit ?

Does having more than 9 pages of app mean that when you sync with itune, the ipod memory is wiped clean ?

Within 3 months, we have filled up 9 full pages of apps.  From reading the internet, there seems some cases where having 10 or more pages of apps (i.e. >144 apps) will corrupt the ipod forcing a rebuild when sync with itune. 

Has anyone experienced this problem ?  Does this problem still exist for the ipod touch 3G

Has anyone managed to sync their ipod with itune with >144 apps.   144 apps is not much considering that app store has >100,000 apps.

The great thing with appstore is that most apps are free or very cheap (£0.59, £0.99) so we have spent very little money to get these 144 apps (include about 16 standard apps that came with the ipod).

I seem to remember Fed when he last won AO he didn't drop a set (Gonzo or Bhaggy in final?)

Looked even sweeter in HD lol...now all we need is for Donkey n Nole to knock the stuffing out of Fed over ten sets and Muzz to take care of business...the irony of being ranked 5 is that he doesn't have to play Rafa n Fed back to back. Great stuff today...even the bookies didn't fancy Ralf
