I enjoyed the show last night, thought there was some interesting insight into his career although felt there was a lot left unsaid and at times felt rushed? Interesting insight into his injuries - as we perhaps suspected he really was suffering (the crying in Washington was down to pain & the realisation that the initial hip surgery he had done hadn't really worked) and also the defeat to Nishikori at the US Open was when he first really felt the pain from his injuries. I remember thinking at the time that he was losing concentration - wasn't that the game where there was a butterfly on court & he was getting frustrated with the spider cam?
Overall, I'm not sure the format works for a really in-depth analysis of his career - it was more like a Graham Norton type interview - which is fine. I feel that an autobiography book would give him the space to tell things through thoroughly, although I also think he might want to wait a few years before doing that so that he can be more brutally honest about players, rivals, officials, etc...
It was great for people to show their appreciation for all the years of following him - there was certainly lots of applause/cheering!

What a rollercoaster ride it's been. I lurked on MW for many years without posting anything but finally registered and posted a few thoughts towards the end. Thank you to all of you who setup and ran the forum.
I think it's been a fitting last tournament for Andy and he's walking away satisfied but happy to move on to his next chapter, life keeps moving on and never stays the same. We'll never see his like again, thanks for the memories!

Alcaraz/Nadal not started yet - so looks like it won't start until at least 4:45pm UK time. Was so great to see a victory in the last round and the boys jumping with joy/excitement - fingers crossed for the fairytale to continue although I notice the Belgians are overwhelming favourites so this will be much harder!

I agree - Doubles makes much more sense. He'll be much more competitive in Doubles and likely to get more than just 1 game at Wimbledon - it'd be really cool to see him help Jamie get the Wimbledon Mens doubles title that has eluded him to date.
