It won't be easy for Murray to move into the top 10 by Wimbledon, because he also has to compete with Djikovic and Gasquet in the rankings.  The three of them are neck-and-neck in points and none of them have  a lot of points to defend, i.e. they can make big gains this year.  So, I have no doubt Murray will pick up a lot of points but it could get very crowded in the top 10.

OK, maybe my opinion doesn't count for much, since I have only been watching tennis for a few years, but this was definitely the best match I have ever seen.  Some people think that Nadal didn't play hhis best, but I disagree. I think Nadal did play his best and so did Murray.  That is why it was so great.  It was like watching two great heavyweights at the peak of condition go at it, trading blows.  It's too bad that Andy lost, but he gave us a great match and he proved that he belongs among the elite.  I have the utmost respect for Nadal.  He is absolutely fantastic and seems like a very nice person. Andy also seems very down-to-earth.  They are both tremendous competitors without the monstrous egos that you see too often in sports.  Murray and Nadal could have a great rivalry for years to come.

"Mats Wilander, the former world No 1 from Sweden and champion on grass and hard courts here in the 1980s, said that it was the finest match he had seen in years and that Murray’s backhand is the best in the men’s game. "

Coming from Wilander, that says a lot.
