Watched the match. Thought he just played a bit too nervous, clearly has a lot of respect for FAA (who is an absolute beast). If he’d have held his composure middle of the second set feel like the match could have swung.
As do many of us. Try supporting what Andy is trying to do instead of knocking on him. He’s been through a lot.
Was simply making the point that at this stage of his career he needs to use his experience to be more clinical. Should have won that 1st set comfortably.
He needs to stop feeling opponents out, done it all his career. Let Alcatraz off the hook for a sloppy start. Needs to use his experience to become more predatory and punish players if he’s going to prolong his career.

Hmm. Thing is people have been saying the same about Rafa for a couple of years now but looking at his results so far this year he's playing as good as ever. I suspect we are all over-worrying about this.
Exactly. He pushed his body too much from last Wimbledon (Olympics, chasing world no.1 etc) This year has been the let down. He still very nearly got to the FO final and Wimbledon semi playing at probably 75 % Murray will make a GS final again.
Andy Murray, 3 time major winner. Has such a good ring to it even if his career ended now just seems to validate his talent and legacy a lot more...But of course he will be wanting more!
