Am I right in thinking they're both held in Glasgow? Certainly a bit milder there than Edinburgh with it's "cooling" east wind blowing in off the North Sea!
Actually, there's 3 Futures in Scotland: 2 indoors at Scotstoun in Glasgow and another outdoors at Craiglockhart in Edinburgh.

Think I was thinking on a slightly grander scale ....
Yeah, we wish.

However, I did speak to Andy here on a one to one. The fact that he looked at me like I was a raving lunatic with an expression that said 'Who the hell are you, and why are you talking to me' is neither here nor there...

Murray. I think it was the first Aberdeen Cup, and he'd kind of hurt his back a bit. He was signing my flag (not a euphemsim) and I asked if his back was OK. He turned around and looked at me (I think he suspected I was a journalist) but one look told him I was just a sad old sap. He said 'yeah, I did, but it'll be OK... or words to that effect. I was just chuffed to have engaged him...

Well Andy was a bit of a surly brat then. He'll be a lot manlier and politer now.

I wouldn't say he was surly. He was just wary and a bit confused at some old mare having a chat.

Thing is - these professinal tennis players play in the heat all the time - that's what they do ... that must be why you don't see any tournaments in Scotland ...
Does anyone remember how hot the AO was?????? If they can't cope in Cincinatti or the USO, what's it say for the others. They are ALL played in HOT weather!!!! That's what tennis is!!!

OK, OK - calm down!
But you have to admit Wimbledon and the FO aren't often affected by very hot weather. And, yes, the AO 2009 in particular was a real hottie with players dropping out like flies. They've got a roof in Melbourne to keep out the SUN!
