Murray has two years left for Slam dream

Quote

I'm wondering why you have not responded to Rob who has made two posts on autism now - do you consider him a troll or not?
Why should I be expected to respond? And no, I do not consider him a troll at this point in time.

I really don't get the feeling that Hazel was joking about autism in a vicious way. She was simply saying that if we were to suggest that someone in the tennis world might have those tendencies,

Hi Jenny!  Welcome to “Andy Murray’s Highly Completive Debating Forum” !!  Smile

The thing is, you see, Jenny, Hazel and I are acknowledged outspoken “Christian Advocates” on this Forum and so we are held to a higher standard of benign veracity than others, and so although I agree that Hazel was not joking about autism at all, in any way whatsoever, vicious or otherwise, she did not say Rafa might have autistic tendencies, she went a little bit further and said that he definitely did have them, and so, as a result you can see that she hasn’t quite lived up to the high standard of benign veracity, expected from us.  Smile

Oh George, you just completely fabricated what someone said. Hazel simply said if any player might have it, it would be Nadal, nothing else. I recommend as a moderator you stop twisting peoples words, it's becoming a bit of a hobby for you on here. All it achieves is causing unnecessary fighting, in other words it's baiting.

  *  valid point was made re Murray's mental condition I think. speaking of nadal his ocd rituals extend to his not losing service games so as a sort of drill it works . Murray has no such drill to offset his undoubted ADHD brought on by hours of pc console addiction/ which also afflicted his personal life - ie gf dumping him, brad g etc.  these matters need to be addressed and tackled head on so he can fulfil his true potential as a tennis great. He needs to see a psychiatrist (and a very good one). Sorry but thats the way I see it.

Sorry you thought I was baiting Hazel, Mark. No baiting was intended.

Humble apologies to Hazel if she thought I was baiting her, too. I thought we had become friends.

Rob, people aren't looking at your posting history. That's what I did and so far you appear to be a genuine member.

First you suggest that he might be autistic and now you start with this rubbish about a PC addiction. If you're not a troll, you're doing a good job of acting like one.

thanks M. my reason for visiting this forum is Murray not personal stuff with flat earthers to whom anyone with an opinion is a troll. The "other place" is full of them.
Also I dont love Andy, I dont have any sympathy for him whatsoever and I dont want to know what colour underpants hes wearing. I dont particularly care whether hes happy or not either.

What caught my attention way back in 2008/9 was a young guy toying with Federer and Nadal - it was something to behold and I've been hooked ever since. Hes a complex and interesting character with a gift of the gods, did he but know it.
My intention is to find obstacles now blocking the way of him realising his potential. Whatever it takes as far as I'm concerned and I'll speak my mind, within the rules, whether "Clydey" likes it or not (no offence to him either)

so far the psychological angle has been resisted not least by Murray himself. but I sense time is of the essence and probably it should be considered sooner rather than later

Fair enough, you're a fan of his tennis rather than him as person, nothing wrong with that Smile

Not sure if you mean the psychological angle has been resisted on MW but in fact many people have been discussing this angle during the time I've been a member - not least psychological tennis who brings a real understanding of psychology.  But I agree Andy appears to resist the idea that he could need help on this front himself.  And there's nothing wrong in someone admitting that they need that kind of help.  Few of us are that balanced psychologically that we don't and it must be particularly difficult for him as the one and only hope of British men's tennis with noone else on the near horizon and with his own burning ambition to succeed.  And perhaps that's one difference between you and some of the rest of us ie we do have sympathy for him and care what happens to him.

I dont have any sympathy for him and no I dont care about him in a personal way at all. I've never met him I dont know him so I why would I say I cared. I dont. I'm sure he's not offended!
I'm afraid the only thing I appreciate about Murray is the way he plays (played) tennis.

somethings gone west since team murray assembled/ Brad Gilbert departed. what is it I wonder? thats the key to it all and what interests me not how happy or sad he is, whether he's had a row with his girl or mum who cares? lets bypass all the guff and try to find out whats wrong because he doesn't know thats for sure.He says he hasn't a clue whats wrong  doesnt even know if he's tired.

what on earth is the point of saying how sorry we are for him or how "we care"
I want him back playing the tennis he was just before and after he split with Gilbert

sorry again

Now that's baiting if ever I've seen it.

George, how old are yourself and Daisy? Pretty childlike behaviour from the pair of you. The thing is, it's so transparent.

If you want pick a tennis player more likely to have autistic tendencies then look towards Rafa not Murray lol

I don't think it is childlike to be offended by someone making a joke about autism.  Seemed to me that Hazel was laughing about it, as per the  lol in her post (above).  In addition, she then admitted she had been making a joke.
