Great result for Team GB! And that back-hand lob for the final winner! Unbelievably Fantastic!
Question? Why are Andy's 625 Davis Cup points removed on 31/12/2015? Why not 12 months from yesterday?

If I were not so busy today, I would watch the whole match all over again. So this magic final point, which reflects all of Andy's skills, must do. And I love the picture where Andy is lifted by his team-mates like a saviour totally overwhelmed by his emotions. Very touching. All the reports praise his immense achievements in this year#s campaign like never before. Andy has put all his heart into winning the DC and therefore I am so happy to see that it paid off. He was undoubtedly the leader, yet without the other players who have fought to reach this stage over the past five years, often unnoticed by the broad public, often showing their will to get rid off the loser-image, this unbelievable success would never have been possible. So thanks to all of them who was involved. For me they deserve an award for the best team.

I watched the match in full again last night when I had calmed down. It was brilliant so glad for Andy and the team, Had to laugh when Andy told Jamie to move away from the trophy as he was in his line of vision. Andy was so up for this game and he didn't want anything to bother him.

Such an achievement for Andy and so wonderful to seem him so very happy surrounded by his team mates and with his family present. All credit to Leon Smith too. That last boss of the LTA (Roger Draper was it?) did something right at least by appointing him. It's a wonderful story how they moved steadily from nearly the v bottom of Davis Cup leagues to win the damn thing.
I never expected such wall to wall media coverage. And yes grab it's great to see Andy getting the appreciation he is due - not just in the Daily Fail but in almost every paper it would seem with lots of speculation about where he stands in the pantheon of greatest British sportsmen. I suspect a knighthood will come now rather than wait until when his playing career is over (and delighted to hear him say he hopes to play for another 5-6 years just now) because this achievement really stands out and also they can cite his charity work now.
Andy Murray you are a true star

When Andy has the determination and belief with no distractions, nobody can beat him. The way he played in DC all year would be a match for anyone even fed and djoker!. I predict a awesome 2016 for Andy if he stays determined and focused #sportspersonalityoftheyear2

I was there for the three days and it was just wonderful to watch the play at close hand. The matches were of a high quality, the noise deafening ,the atmosphere was something else. The memory of our win will stay with for ever. Andy is an inspiration .

I haven't take the time to congratulate Andy and the Team GB for this oustanding win !
It felt good to see Andy winning a big title again.
I'm happy for him, the team and for all of you fans in GB. You must be proud !
What a match ! Favourite point : Andy at one set up, 6-5 up, leading 40-30. That forehand cross court was out of this world and Andy's reaction priceless.
Good to read Andy saying that he will learn from that success to compete even better for his next goals ! I hope he will play with the same determination and focus at GS and Masters next year.
Now for the sad part, I think Andy gave us hints on what his future will be.
It may be wrong and it depends also on how things will go from the beginning of 2016.
I think his last goals are AO and the French, even if winning USO and Wimbledon again should be more than welcomed bonuses. He will give it 2-3 years. But I don't think more. He has already said that when the baby arrives, tennis will become secondary.
Let's enjoy these few more years !

Yeah, I think he will go on for 4 more years at the most, maybe even less if his ranking were to suddenly drop away (although I see no reason for it to). The AO sounds like a real target - the French would be a brilliant bonus. He doesn't strike me as the Federer sort who will go on until his mid-30's at least - and definitely not the Hewitt sort, playing on for years with no real form or success.

[Well, after he's won all four slams and got to number one even if for just one week] I'd love to see him then transfer to playing doubles with Jamie until he hangs up his racquet. I wonder how feasible or possible that would be?
