Yes, it would be quite unreasonable of the lta to expect any form of pay back.... It's sort of like a hospital expecting someone who was born prematurely, so had lots of treatment, and then went on to earn lots of money, to pay the nhs back.....

He wasn't given a loan and they weren't giving him money out of charity. If Murray does well, British tennis benefits.

I think he's more than earn't that money to be fair! 200k people picking up a racket due to his success! Over 400 million injected into tennis. Deserves a bloody knighthood to be honest! For me what he has done by inspiring others can only further benefit the game!!! The lta will always be in his debt!

I agree.  Andy has inspired a whole new generation to play tennis, following on exactly from where Tim left off but on an even higher level.
