It's just a bit more prestigious than Lancaster (although...I wasn't a huge fan of the campus when I visited. Exeter as a town though is pretty nice Smile )

Apologies for my lack of support earlier....... Upon consultation with my significant other, who possesses bountiful long dark locks and indeed uses aforementioned GHD straighteners, I would like to concur with my esteemed colleague Julia in attempting to persuade you, Cate, to desist from parting with your length and enjoy the many-fold  opportunities of barnet-ry open to you (bun, plaits, bunches, etc) cmon yeah

Don't cut your hair! Nooooo! Long hair is always the way to go. (unless your talking about a little shortening to make it more manageable then I suppose that'd be ok)

Edit: Just actually read the discussion. Green line looks good for when straight but if you usually wear it curly I'd say a little longer. go halfway I think. And neil, spot on about the GHD's in my house we have 2!

You have GHDs too? Everyone has GHDs... tell me more about them?

* Mark continues negotations with GHD over advertising revenue.

Ooo gotcha - I thought you were being an assistante at the uni - but I guess you'll be at a school?
Like I said, Exeter as a town is lovely!

(Although...if you look at train times, Lancaster is about equal travelling time to London Wink )

Ooooh, cool thanks for the piece of information, Laura  hug

Well, I think I have to explain a bit better the situation though lol :

I'm currently doing my fourth year at Uni. I want to become an English teacher. So as a language student, it is necessary that I live in the country for a while. So I decided to apply in both things, and I'll see where I'm picked Smile

So I chose 3 regions in the UK for the assistant thing, which are (in that order): Sussex, Kent and Scotland (it's a real job, with wages and so on). But my teacher (the one who helps me through my dissertation) told me I could apply to be a lectrice in a Uni too. That's why I asked which town was better Smile But Exeter looks cool Wink Plus, it twinned with my town  yay

Anyway, I have to do interviews at Uni for that, so I won't know where I'm going before the end of April (at least).

And after that year abroad, I still have another formation and some competitive examinations to pass Smile
