She probably won't want you to go if she thinks you might end up getting hurt.

I like having a CV 2 pages long.
My CV is 4 pages long. For a long time it was 2 pages and I never got interviews. Since I changed it to 4 pages I got 5 interviews! Three of which I didn't need because I had been offered a job by the second
And you can't miss out anything thats relevant which you think you can just say in the interview because you need all that stuff in the CV for them to want to give you an interview. Don't tell them in the CV and they won't know.

Although, bear in mind, part-time employers might not be bothered reading 4 pages...

Do you not know of a better party then where some of her friends might be there?

I don’t really know what to do tonight,
I could stay in and watch the tennis at 9 o’clock or go to the Bonfire / fireworks display and then on to the pub.
I think there is a good chance that Andy will lose this match and I will be bitterly disappointed if he does and I also missed a night out with friends because of it. I don’t like meeting people at the pub half way through the night as they will be bing-bonged by that time, You then try and catch up, which in my experience you never quite manage.
I could Sky + the tennis and go to the fireworks, but watching tennis after the event is never the same (I normally end up fast forwarding my way through it). If however Andy wins I will be equally disappointed that I opted for the fireworks and missed the match.
Any advice would be appreciated.

But I'm also a pyromaniac and the dancing flames are so hypnotic

If Robredo loses you absolutely have to watch Andy. If he wins, go to the fireworks.

I've found out that it starts really early 17:30 so the Guy Fawkes competition can be judged
So I might just get to see both, as long as I don't drink too much Glühwein.

Coming from someone who has little experience in working life, this is a genuine dilemma for me right now...
Do I take up the offer to have my own office or do I share a very large office with someone I get along with really well?
I assume having your own office is quite nice because it's a room officially for you but then again you're completely isolated which surely could make things rather boring

Personally, I like working on my own at my own pace when doingthings with computers in particular. If your ONLY reason for moving office is "that it's nice to have a space officially for you" then I;d stay where you are. If the person you are sharing with is helpful, conversational and friendly, why move?
Also, I'd ask them what they think you should do.
Also, on the space issue. Do you have enough space for paperwork? Do you need more? Would moving give you more? If you moved are you more or less inclined to be tidy and are you more/less inclined to work as hard.
