That's Sunday brunch sorted, then?
Feeling extremely chilled. Nothing to do but rest, sunbathe and read....... feels so good!

1st day at new job = over. Tired. It was an ok day. It's always going to be a bit harsh getting use to a new job.

Working for the National Park Service at a park nearby where I live here. As part of the maintenence and bathroom crew. It's a good job, paying $15 a hour! Summer job only...seasonal.
One of the girls I was supose to work with got fired today because she was not an American citizen, from Granada, and you need to be one to have a government job. This is where my duel British-American citizenship comes in handy.

$15/hour seems like a great rate! It does sound like it could be quite a hard job - especially out and about in the heat. Dual citizenship is VERY HANDY

It probably can get hard. Yesterday I was just cleaning a bathroom, which was not too bad as I did really nothing. You can't be cleaning a bathroom for 8hrs straight, ya know.
So for most of my shift I was sitting around doing nothing. I get to wear the uniform Park Rangers wear!!!
So I feel important!
Working again today from 11am to 7pm. I hope it goes ok.

Sounds OK getting paid for doing nothing.
Uniform sounds like fun too! Hope it's a bit busier for you today, though.

Yeah I did. I've just printed off a letter and just hoping its good enough. Doubt it because I can't do half the stuff that was in the spec but just gotta go for it anyway.
