A bit worried. My boy has been having panic attacks recently. His dissertation has been handed in, and I hope that'll see the end of them.

He's bound to be okay once the adrenalin stops rushing round ... speaking of kids, how's your daughter's arm? She's not back at work is she? |

Yes, I hope so. Daughter's plaster is off, and she starts placement at the end of this month. Acute care for the elderly. God love her... |

I don't know how she stands it. I mean the elderly are so tricky, and a lot of lifting - is she really ready to start doing that? - of course we're all heading in that direction (elderly) eventually - some of us are just hurtling a little faster than others - not you and I of course - goes without saying  |

I mean the elderly are so tricky, and a lot of lifting - is she really ready to start doing that? - of course we're all heading in that direction (elderly) eventually - some of us are just hurtling a little faster than others - not you and I of course - goes without saying Lol. I'm not sure how she stands it either. She's already done her back in from lifting patients. She's being well looked after by occupational health mind, and am sure she'll not have to do anything that may compromise her arm for now. |

When you say occupational health, is this something to do with the hospital where she works or is it part of the service offered by her GP? |

As a nursing student she has the availability of an occupational health service. It's part of the deal. She doesn't work at one hospital, but goes on placement to various places. |

She's in her final year. She has one six week one, then a fourteen week one. She'll graduate around Xmas this year. |

She's taken a sign language course and would like to work with people with learning difficulties. |
