She has chronic bronchitis and every few months doctors offer increasingly stronger medications in line with her severe condition. The problem with these inhalers is that it becomes addicting and you will keep increasing your dose until one day it doesn't work. She has developed a homeopathic regime for herself over the last 10 years and can now get out of the house without a problem and walk up stairs without relying on it. Homeopathy can be the only explanation as inhalers do not heal, they only relieve.

Also I think you are taking definitions a little too literally. I think herbology is part of homeopathic treatment and certainly doesn't include just a drop...

No, I'm fully aware of the definition of homeopathy. It is exactly as I described.

I can't possibly comment on your mother's situation because I don't know all the facts. I just know that homeopathy hasn't cured her.

Well I think homeopathy stems from herbology. Herbal resources are not used in modern medicine but are a core characteristic of homeopathy.

Tbh, I would like to read up on all this but life is too short right now.

I didn't say there was hostility, nor that it's the hostility that bothers me more than the persistent oneupmanship and bickering I'm not saying any one person is to blame, it's just that it seems to be silly season on the whole board atm.

There is always going to be a stage past which you can't fully recover. I believe homeopathy claims it can cure initial stages of cancer which modern medicine only delays by removing the area, trial and error.

To be fair, there's a large percentage of people who don't even know the name of the medication they have been prescribed, that's how brainwashed we've become by modern medicine. No one would think about standing up and questioning their doctor. I'm glad there's at least other schools of thought.

You should always question what you're being given. I always research what I'm prescribed.

There is a reason why these medicines are considered "alternative", though. They just haven't proven to be effective. But it's up to you what you believe.

^ Can't say I find it any weirder than normal.     I think people are just a bit twitchy, given that our boy has now had three attempts in Slam finals.  To see him win at least one would be our ultimate aim, and it's not happening up to now, so everyone is antsy...

I think so.  People have either made their peace with watching and following Andy, and are content to see what happens, or they're still having a go at others.  We all have our opinions etc., but no need to have a go at the posts/opinions of others when we all actually want the same outcome, as fans.  It's not useful, and just makes everyone feel like sh*t for expressing their thoughts.  

The abusive postings, and the derision of others, I'd like to do without, mind.  But it's up to me whether I want to be here or not, the same as for everyone else.
