How do you feel right now?

Very sad and reflective for tomorrow. I simply refuse to lose contact with my college friends who I will miss loads, but I've enjoyed college so much and I've achieved so much that I never thought possible. I went from Errani to Djokovic in 2 years and I have my tutors, support tutor and friends to thank for that. It's been a real experience that I don't want to let go, but have to. Frown

The main thing is keeping in touch with your friends- they will be the supportive stepping stones to help you move on to the next stage in your life, the one college has prepared you for. It's a scary leap of faith but one your course will have prepared you for even if t doesn't always feel like it to you. The trick is to look forward to the next step- which I know is easier said than done. Good luck!

Very wise advice from Westie, and I've been down the same road myself, so there's nothing I can add to that except to say that once you start focussing on new horizons you might be surprised just how quickly your memories of college fade, but in the nicest possible way, so you'll look back on it not with longing but as a very pleasurable interlude in your life.  Also it's important to keep on reminding yourself of the achievements you made there, because then you can take confidence from that and build on it, even if the going seems tough.

Feeling a bit tired, the last few days been very busy clearing my front garden of all the shrubs. I decided to do this as the garden had a lot of big shrubs and it was getting too much for me, So I am having a Japanese garden a lot easier to keep tidy and I have some lovely plants in my back garden which are suitable. Almost there have a little more work to tidy up, then I can order the white gravel. My son is giving me money for my birthday and I am buying a lovely water feature for the garden, I love the sound of running water. When it's all done I will send a pic. Just got to figure out were to put the plants in the garden.

I think Japanese gardens are beautiful LB, so I look forward to seeing your pic.

Wow! Sounds lovely Margaret, as well as practical! I love water features too! So soothing and calming! Good Feng Shui! Not only relaxing, but said to bring wealth into the home! Better get that lottery ticket as soon as it's in place eh! Very Happy

Thanks Aileen and Caz just a few more little jobs to do then I can order the stones. Most of my plants are in pots so they should be easy kept have nice acers,roddy's and azealas excuse spelling already grown in pots. I have a book on Japanese gardens just hope I have a little talent on placing the plants, still need to find some big stones and stepping stones for the garden and a few odds and ends. Hoping to get started next week hope the weather keeps good.
