Right now I feel very, very excited. On Saturday our lovely daughter, Emma, marries Liz, her partner of three years in a ceremony at a vineyard in the Vale of Glamorgan, not far from their home in Wales. They've been planning the wedding for a year. Liz is an architectural engineer; she belongs to a super family we have come to know well and she has become a very special and much loved extra daughter to us. They are also in the process of buying a newly built house in Barry. Members of both families will come from as far as Australia and Canada to be there.

It will be a totally different occasion to the church wedding and reception that we had when my eldest daughter was married 26/27 years ago, even my three grandchildren are almost grown up now. May the happiness in my family never falter and may I be here a long time still to watch them all mature.

Cut off!  They have just limited internet use at work to lunchtime only! Crying or Very sad  My day just got longer without radio 2 and livescores to keep me going.  Have to research the whole internet access via smart phones scenario.  Being NZ, I don't expect it to be cheap.
