I hate e-books. Hate them, hate them, hate them.
My favourite cafe/bookstore is closing.
Lots of bookstores in NZ possibly closing at parent company bring administrators in.

Hate my life, hate the lack of actual hope and really wish tomorrow wouldn't come
Ah what the **** always look on the bright side of life
Oh Hazel
Life can be tough sometimes but I'm sure that you have a great group of people round you to help you through tough times - you just need to ask.

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

Veronica, if you're referring to Borders, the whole chain isn't closing, just certain stores. They're trying to resuscitate themselves. I hope they succeed.

If you are going through a tough time, St. John's Wort is a fantastic and it's natural. In Germany it's often prescribed to patients suffering mild depression.
I go on it when I feel emotionally unstable, back on them as of a few days ago. For me it works, whether that's placebo or not, I don't care but there is plenty of scientific evidence behind it.
You can buy it cheaply from Tesco but you do need to take more than the RDA if taking it for this purpose, I take between 4-6 tablets a day.

No and I don't like the idea of it being referred as homeopathic as it sort of demeans it a little. This has a lot of scientific weight behind it.
EDIT: St John's Wort isn't homeopathy.

Got to disagree about Homeopathy being some sort of poor relation. I don't think it is that at all ... one of the local GPs here quit his National Health Practise to start up a Homeopathy Clinic - he also specialises in other alternative medicines.

The impression I've got is most of the alternative type medicines, such as homeopathy, is not backed up by evidence (please correct me if I'm wrong), hence I didn't like the association.

I wouldn't say that you're wrong, but I believe there have been enough cranks associated with it, that it's got a bad name. HRH POW is a devotee but somehow or other his weight doesn't amount to much of anything - almost seems detrimental.

Oh, St. John's Wort isn't homeopathy then by that definition. It's not diluted at all, it's just a natural supplement, like Vitamin C.
