Have to go now as son is back, but will check in with you all in the morning (my time).
Maybe I got it wrong and it was over the road someone was coming home

You should set up your own thread so that you can deal with all our aches and pains ... have a good one ...

I made the mistake of letting a guy back into my life and this is where my downfall is. Now I'm back in the rut of which I was starting to claim out of. I'm back to being regetted by job interviews too which isn't a great moral boost.
St John's Wort has been shown to be effective with moderate depression as well. So certainly worth considering, and you can stay on it much longer without much risk.

Oh, I don't know about that but I've used arnica when I've walked into something and it usually stops the bruising coming out and it might help the muscles around your foot strengthen. Besides, I only work in the accounts part but we do get free samples to try and I've got a really nice sample of arnica containing manuka honey, kiwi seed and peppermint. I used it on an oven burn (taking the yorkshire puddings out) and it was great!

I haven't tried that ... but will definitely give it a go. Thank you ...
You should also drink aloe vera juice - helps the body heal internally but then that might not be good for you either and make your ears ring!
My hubby has to have an op on his arm in a couple of weeks and our resident naturopath has advised him to start taking that along with some other supplements so that his body copes better with the surgery and will begin the healing process sooner.

I've never used Arnica before. A couple of weeks ago I banged into a cupboard door which was standing open - a hanging wall unit - and got the sharp end right in my upper arm ... ouch. I slapped a bag of frozen peas on it and it kept it from swelling up and bruising too. Problem is, there are about 100 boxes, all packed, all over the place, and it is easy to bang into things right now!

Jeez Amy! That's over three month's away. Sorry, I didn't mean for that to sound so dramtic. Start making a list and checking it twice and get some positive people around you.
Ask someone to have a look at your CV and ask if they can suggest any improvements/tweaking.
Son his really home now, so I will have to go. Again, catch up with you later.

Get some cream - not sure of brands in the UK - not sure if you can get Weleda over there.
Night.

I've used aloe gel a lot and really like it but never thought to drink aloe vera juice. Unfortunately, ear ringing is a nothing compared to some other items. The inability to metabolise can cause dangerous and potentially fatal build ups - I'd happily settle for just ear ringing ...

But thats the thing, my CV is great, I interview well and get great feedback. I just had an interview which I didn't get for the only reason ... they thought I wouldn't be able to cope with the demand. Despite the fact they can see from my CV and what I told them that I have done high demand before. Christ, I work in bookies!!! Theres literally nothing I could have done to have helped the situation. They said I interviewed well and came across as a good person. I even wore my glasses to make me look more professional and mature then I look. When you do your best, and people agree but still don't pick you ... its a big blow. Just seems to be all I can ever be

It's easy for me to say try and not get down on yourself, but, I also think you need to take into consideration that there will be an awful lot of applicants right now, so it's a "buyer's market". Also, try and give your self a couple of days to absorb the bad news and then you'll start to bounce back up. The day you get bad news, or the day after that, is really the worst.

Veronica, if you're referring to Borders, the whole chain isn't closing, just certain stores. They're trying to resuscitate themselves. I hope they succeed.
Mine is. :/

Homeopathy:
Treating an illness by consuming an ultra diluted amount of the harming chemical/substance, sometimes even poison, in the hope that it tests your immune system without harming you, and therefore increases your defenses against whatever you are fighting. There is no scientific evidence to back it up, in fact all evidence suggests it's placebo.
That is generally what homeopathy is but I think it's given an incredibly false impression in the UK to protect the practice of main stream medicine i.e. give you loads of antibiotics to instantly relieve you of a problem but not cure it.
My house is filled with homeopathy books and my mum has never given me any treatments but what she reads, I've never been to the doctor
It's all based on natural herbs and roots which you brew and drink. I've never done any of the serious stuff but she gave me a pack for uni and I can recover from a serious cold in 2 days.
Homeopathy believe they can cure early stages of cancer, arthritis and asthma and I certainly see improvements in my mum. She was told by a doctor in 2000 that she may not survive that year with her asthma which is why she turned and started reading about homeopathy and she's very well now.
