A stone piglet and a birthday card for my daughter's birthday tomorrow. She used to love a bacon butty, but hasn't eaten pork in any form for years now! She loves pigs, so I'm hoping she'll love this one as much as I do. I've never seen anything like it!

£1.09 a few minutes ago to the postman because the sender put the wrong stamp on the letter. Their mistake and I pay!

A marriage certificate for my family tree research. I'm 99% sure I've found a bigamist in the mid 1800's, and twice over at that.
Why they can't make certificates downloadable and cheaper (£9.25!) is beyond me. All I want is the details from it!

You really should Caz, it's fascinating. It's not a cheap thing to do, not if you want to really have a go at it, but I love it. I've discovered a lot, relatives in Australia, Canada and the States, a paternal line that goes back beyond the early 1700s, a line on my maternal side that stems from the 1600s at least. I've discovered a relative who married, went to Australia with her husband and raised a family there. Then her husband ended up in prison, escaped and killed himself by jumping off one of those steamboats.
I've discovered a distant cousin who I'm sure ended up in an asylum. I'm sure she had what we would know today as postnatal depression.
I'm led to believe on one of the lines there might have been a pro football player too, but I haven't proved that yet. I just don't know how to go about finding any evidence, so if anyone has any ideas about that I'd love to know.
The funny thing was that I'd joked about wanting to find a bigamist when I started researching. I never imagined that I might. Now it really does appear as if I have. All I have to do is prove that he married the woman who I'm sure was his first wife, who, coincidentally, was his sister-in-law. She'd been married to his brother previously, but he died within a few years of the marriage. There's more to it than that, but it all gets complicated!

I'd love to let you know, that's if no one minds. I was just aware of pinching too much space on the thread with my ramblings lol. I just think it's amazing, so I'm happy to share.
I wonder if we do have a thread for other interests. I could tell you about it there Dani, if we have somewhere.

No problem lol.
If we haven't got one I'll start one. Maybe after RG, assuming I don't go into a huff before long and stop watching lol. Trouble is, every time I think I've had enough I end up being dragged back in by a good match lol. Either way Dani, I'll share the inner workings of my family tree somehow. We're a scandalous lot really. Illegitimacy everywhere on the Hodgkins line! Lol.

A cat toy.
I don't know why I bother. Waste of money since Nigella is disinterested in everything.
I'm beginning to think she's Henri's sister.
